A Career in estate agency can be exciting and rewarding, both personally and financially. Qualities which will most help to advance your career are integrity, good communication skills (which means you understand what people tell you and they understand what you tell them!), the ability to work under pressure but remain positive in your outlook and, above all, enjoying contact with the public, both face-to-face and over the telephone. Our experience shows that those who do really well are self-motivated and prepared to give their full commitment to building their career – which is definitely not 9 to 5, Monday to Friday!
You need to be well presented, and of a friendly and approachable disposition. You do not need formal qualifications although most employers, including ourselves, would expect you to have GCSE passes in Mathematics and English.
