A Thank You To Trio Of Loyal Staff

The month of October marks work anniversaries for three long-serving DB Roberts staff, marked by the Company’s Chairman paying tribute to their loyalty and contribution to the firm.

Sales Negotiator Tracey Butler, who has now achieved 17 years at D B Roberts, is one of our most popular employees, receiving numerous cards, flowers and ‘thank yous’ from grateful clients and also much-loved by other DBR staff for her kind and generous nature. Tracey says; ‘I love my job and have lost count of the number of clients I have helped through the process of buying or selling a house. DB Roberts is a great Company to work for and I am really grateful for all the help and support I have been given over the years.’ 

Tracey was congratulated by Sales Director Matt Hill, who joined DB Roberts at the same date and is sharing the 17th anniversary. Both Tracey and Matt started work at DBR’s Telford Centre branch, which Matt joined as a valuer. Looking back over the past years, Matt says that he has been given many opportunities to develop and take on more responsibility and that he now enjoys giving support and encouragement to the large and successful sales team for whom he is responsible. 

Jo Culley joined the firm in October 1999 as a Branch Manager and so marks 20 years of continuous employment this month. Now Managing Director, responsible for all operations of the D B Roberts group of companies including estate agency, auctioneering, financial services and conveyancing, Jo is widely admired throughout the estate agency industry for her leadership and management skills. She has been invited to speak at events featuring successful women in industry and maintains strong connections with major national and regional industry figures. 

Commenting on the celebrations of service and success, DB Roberts Chairman said: 

‘We are immensely proud of our staff retention which is due in no small part to our willingness to support, develop and recognise employees who contribute to our success over the past 55 years. Tracey, Jo and Matt are by no means the longest-serving employees of D B Roberts and I am proud to say that the staff retention rate is among the best in the property industry nationally. I look forward to marking more long-service anniversaries in the coming months.’
