As ever, we are looking ahead and we are encouraged by what we see. We have embraced change not only in how our clients like to communicate with us and look for properties to buy and rent, but also the growing trend to apply for a mortgage and do the legal conveyancing on line and over the phone. We have also made sure you can reach us at times to suit you; 8am to 8pm on weekdays and extended hours at weekends.
Now we have decided to combine the experience and knowledge of some of our key staff to form an expanded management team to take us forward with new projects.
Bill Brookes will remain as Chairman and continue to give his full time commitment to the Group of Companies. However, in recognition of the significant role which Sales Director Jo Culley has successfully filled in the Company for several years, she has been promoted to Managing Director of D B Roberts & Partners, while continuing to hold that position in D B Roberts Mortgage Services Ltd.
Matthew Hill, who joined the Company 15 years ago as a Valuer and has most recently been Shropshire Area Sales Director, has been named as Jo’s successor as Sales Director, with responsibility for all DB Roberts’ branches together with the lettings department. In this role, Matthew will be supported by Matt Hood whose promotion to Valuations Director was announced earlier this year.
Since joining D B Roberts as Branch Manager at Stafford, Lara Brown has demonstrated great ability and commitment, taking on responsibility for additional branches and playing a major part in raising standards, innovating the Firm’s use of IT systems and also further enhancing our marketing. Lara has been named Marketing & Training Director and will work closely with Matthew Hill across all branches.
Supported by an able and enthusiastic group of departmental and branch managers, the new DB Roberts management team will now develop the Firm’s forward plans to ensure the Company remains among the industry leaders and respond to a changing market.
