Virgin London Marathon 2015
Thu 23 Apr 2015
Jack Hands will take part in the 26-mile route to raise money for the Shrewsbury Severn Hospice who give specialist care and support free of charge to families living with an incurable illness, across the whole of Shropshire and North Powys.
Never one to steal the limelight, Jack will not be in fancy dress – however we will be looking out for his athletic form and aqua coloured vest.
The DB Roberts Negotiator feels very strongly about his chosen cause and quite simply believes that any pain he endures is nothing in comparison with what the families associated with Severn Hospice experience.
Jack is not new to endurance running and this year he wants to beat his personal best and stroll home in under 3 hours and 10 minutes.
He has been set a target of raising £1500 and so far is just over half way. All of the care the hospice provides is only possible thanks to the generous support received from the community. Please help us to swell the fundraising pot more than the blisters Jack will no doubt be sporting on Monday morning.
