Mortgage Administrator

Job role

DB Roberts Property Centres are looking to recruit a Mortgage Administrator to join their busy team based in Shrewsbury.

The successful candidate will assist with all admin and follow up processes to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Mortgage and Protection Administration process. You will adhere to all compliance procedures and act in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

The role involves chasing outstanding items in relation to the mortgage application, liaising with solicitors, estate agents and lenders to progress the sale to completion whilst ensuring excellent customer service levels are maintained at all times. You will be required to maintain an electronic client database and collate reports.

Previous experience in the mortgage environment is preferred but not essential but you will need to have strong administration skills and be willing to learn. You must have a good telephone manner and a working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
