🎃 Essington Farm, Wolverhampton

A local favourite in the Wolverhampton area, Essington Farm offers classic pumpkin picking with a cosy farm shop and restaurant on site. 

Families can enjoy tractor rides, fresh countryside air and fields bursting with bright orange pumpkins ready to be picked. Whether you’re carving, decorating or baking, there’s plenty of choice to find your perfect one.

Tickets are £3 per person, with children aged three and under going free. Advance booking is essential, and more dates are released as the month goes on, so it’s worth keeping an eye on their social pages for updates. Entry doesn’t include a pumpkin, but with prices starting from just £2.50, it’s an affordable and fun day out for all ages.

🎃 Arscott Farm, Shrewsbury

A firm favourite with our Shrewsbury team, Arscott Farm is perfect for pumpkin picking and autumn photo moments. Rows of bright orange pumpkins stretch across the patch, with wheelbarrows ready for you to fill. It’s also where we picked our Christmas trees last year,so it’s definitely a place for all seasons!

Once you’ve finished choosing your pumpkins, make sure to stop by The Snack Shack on site, they serve freshly made pizzas, snacks and drinks, ideal for warming up after a stroll through the patch. With beautiful countryside views and plenty of space for the kids to run around, it’s the perfect place to spend an October afternoon.

🎃 Little Wytheford Farm, Shawbury

Set just outside Shrewsbury, Little Wytheford Farm has quickly become a must-visit for families. There’s a brilliant Pumpkin House for photos and a fantastic variety of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes to choose from. Visiting their Pumpkin Patch is just £3 per car and includes the use of wheelbarrows for the duration of your visit. 

🎃 Battlefield 1403, Shrewsbury

For a unique pumpkin-picking experience, this farm combines seasonal fun with a touch of history. With wide fields and plenty of pumpkins to choose from, it’s a fun day out for all ages. After pumpkin picking, stop by the café for homemade lunches and seasonal treats, or browse the farm shop for local produce. It’s the perfect mix of autumn colour and countryside charm. Free entry, only pay for the pumpkins that you pick! 

🎃 Lower Drayton Farm, Stafford

Just outside Stafford, Lower Drayton Farm is home to Staffordshire’s biggest pumpkin patch, with a record 25 acres planted this year. Families can pick from thousands of pumpkins, from giants to quirky shapes.

There’s an outdoor play area, friendly farm animals, a fun Witch School for kids and even an indoor carving barn for rainy days. The Pumpkin Café serves hearty food and homemade treats, making it a great day out for all ages.

Located just a mile from Junction 13 of the M6, it’s an easy and fun-filled day out for families across Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

🎃 Apley Farm Shop, Telford

For those in and around Telford or Bridgnorth, Apley Farm Shop is a great spot to soak up the autumn atmosphere. With pumpkins in all shapes, sizes and colours, from Gruesome Green and Wicked White to classic Traditional Orange, there’s something for everyone to take home.

Visitors can enjoy fairground rides, games and plenty of photo opportunities, making it a brilliant day out for families. Each ticket includes entry to the pumpkin patch and one pumpkin of your choice for anyone aged two and above, with gates open from 9.30am to 4pm.

If you fancy getting creative on-site, add a ticket for the Creepy Carving Cavern and carve your masterpiece before you head home.
