June Market Update: Sales & Lettings

Every month this year, we’ve seen a rise in Valuation Requests, Sales Agreed and Viewings compared to the same time last year, with figures up by over 20%. That tells us more people are ready to make their move and there’s strong demand from buyers.

We currently have thousands of qualified buyers on our mailing list and more are registering with us every single day. Our mailing list helps us get properties in front of the right buyers and we’ve seen some great results with homes selling quickly, often within just days or weeks.

Summer is a great time to sell. Even though the weather hasn’t been at its best lately it’s not just about the sunshine. Longer daylight hours allow for more viewings, gardens are looking greener and many families are working towards moving before the new school year begins.

Mortgage rates are still a big talking point. We’ve seen some fluctuations but buyers are adapting. With the right advice there are still some great deals available.

Lettings is just as active. In recent updates we’ve talked about the increase in managed properties. More landlords are choosing full management for peace of mind and support especially with ongoing changes to legislation. We’re also seeing that tenants are placing more value on professionally managed homes. For many it’s a key factor in their search.
