This year, we headed to Arscott Farm, a firm favourite for seasonal treats. Last year we also picked our Christmas tree here, so we knew it was a must-visit for pumpkin season. The farm has pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Grab a wheelbarrow and enjoy wandering through the patch, it’s a fun way to spend a few hours and soak up the autumn atmosphere. Last year the pumpkin patch boasted 100,000 pumpkins! 

Arscott Farm also has a Snack Shack serving hot drinks, snacks and wood-fired pizzas, making it a great stop to warm up after exploring the fields.  It’s a brilliant place to enjoy the season while supporting a local business we love.

Little Wytheford Farm, Shawbury - A charming pumpkin patch with plenty of pumpkins to choose from. There are a number of photo opportunities at the patch, including the Pumpkin House, which are free to use to capture the perfect autumn shot.

Battlefield 1403 - For a unique pumpkin-picking experience, this farm combines seasonal fun with a touch of history. With wide fields and plenty of pumpkins to choose from, it’s a fun day out for all ages. After exploring the patch, you can also stop by their café for hot drinks and seasonal treats, making it a perfect autumn day.

Pumpkin picking is the perfect excuse to get outside, enjoy the autumn colours, and create some seasonal memories. Whether you’re heading to Arscott Farm, exploring Little Wytheford, or visiting Battlefield 1403, there’s plenty of autumnal fun to be had around Shrewsbury.
